2010 Hire Act
The 2010 Hire Act provides two tax benefits to employers hiring previously unemployed employees. The first tax benefit is the exemption of the employer portion of social security tax for the qualified employee (6.2 percent) on wages paid between March 19, 2010 and December 31, 2010. more
